A late 20th century mahogany bracket clock, limited edition No.29 of 350, specially made for Garrard & Co by F.W. Elliott to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, the three train movement with platform escapement and chiming a choice of Westminster, Whittington and Winchester chimes on eight gongs, the circular dial with black Roman hour numerals and chime/silent indicator and inscribed ‘Anniversary 1631-1981’ above ‘Garrard & Co London’, the case with triple pad top above moulded arch pediment and pierced fret panels, on a rectangular base and brass bracket feet, height 38.5cm, with framed certificate of authenticity
