Since its inception in 1954 the Rolex GMT-Master has been the master of the skies and has adorned the wrists of pilots, astronauts and aviation enthusiasts ever since. Originally designed in collaboration with Pan Am Airways, the Rolex GMT-Master was initially created for Pan AM and issued by them to their pilots and crews on long-haul flights. The key feature of the watch was that it allowed the wearer to simultaneously reference two different time zones with its unique 24 hour bi-rotational bezel.

This is a rare example of the reference 1675, which was produced from 1959 until 1980. It is set in a 39mm stainless steel Oyster case with the early reference pointed crown guards. It features the iconic ‘Pepsi’ red/blue bi-rotational 24-hour bezel with the ‘oval top’ 18.

The watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 1565 automatic movement, which is protected by a solid steel caseback featuring an engraving. The watch is fitted on the classic stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with a folding clasp.

Originally purchased in July 1966 and in fine condition for its age, this GMT-Master comes with its original chronometer certificate, previous service papers from 2023 and its original warranty booklet and box.
