Lovely American Drop dial clock ca 1890.
Original dial and original ornate hands. 8 day gong striking movement. Stunning hand carved top pediment, marquetry borders around the case, fretwork around the dial, turned pillars flanking each side topped with turned finials.

Good condition for age, showing minor signs of age and cosmetic wear to the case, there is an ageing split in the wood above the dial, happens with a clock this age.
