Up for sale is a stunning 19th-century antique Vienna Regulator wall clock. This striking timepiece features a beautifully crafted, dark ebonized case with elegant architectural details, including fluted side pillars, turned finials, and a prominent decorative crest featuring a carved figural mask.
The clock is driven by a high-quality single-weight movement, equipped with maintaining power (to keep the clock running accurately while being wound) and a precise deadbeat escapement. It has a clean white dial with classic Roman numerals, a bold brass pendulum bob, and its original single cylindrical brass weight.
Dimensions:
- Height: 127 cm
- Width: 39 cm
- Depth: 17 cm
Condition:
The ebonized wooden case is in good antique condition with a wonderful aged patina and light wear consistent with age and use. The glass panels are intact. Movement appears complete with its weight and pendulum, but as with all antique clocks, it may require professional setting up or calibration after transit. Please review the high-resolution photos carefully to evaluate the condition details for yourself.
