How we use cookies on this website.

Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies are, which cookies this website uses and how you can control them. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things, such as what is in your basket, and help us understand how the site is used. Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies; cookies set by services we use are called third-party cookies.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies make the shop work: they keep items in your basket, let you check out and keep you signed in if you have an account. The site cannot work properly without them, so they do not need your consent.

  • woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart: remember what is in your basket. Deleted when you close your browser.
  • wp_woocommerce_session_: links your basket to your visit. Lasts up to 2 days.
  • wordpress_logged_in_ and wordpress_sec_: keep you signed in to your account. Deleted when you close your browser, or after 14 days if you choose to be remembered.
  • _lscache_vary: set by our web host’s caching system so you see the correct version of a page, for example with your basket contents. Deleted when you close your browser.

Order Attribution Cookies

When you visit, our shop software records how you found us, for example through a search engine, another website or an advert, so we can see which of these lead to orders. This information is stored in cookies beginning sbjs_, which are deleted when you close your browser. They do not identify you personally.

Analytics Cookies

We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are most popular. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_, which can last up to 2 years. We only set these cookies if you accept them.

Third-Party Services

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.

If you pay through a third-party payment provider, that provider may set its own cookies to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. These cookies are covered by the provider’s own policy.

Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close the browser. Your browser’s help pages explain how.

If you block strictly necessary cookies, your basket and the checkout will not work.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the cookies we use change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
