Lovely French Victorian striking mantel clock ca 1860.
Original hand painted alabaster dial and ornate hands. French 8 day striking movement. Solid bronze ormolu case with rams head finials and acorn top finial. Scrolling decoration standing on 4 empire feet.

Good condition for age, showing minor signs of age and cosmetic wear to the case. Slight wear to the numerals on the dial and ormolu finish in places.
