(Crossed Arrows) – Circa 1900 Up for sale is a beautiful antique German mantel/bracket clock, manufactured by the renowned Hamburg American Clock Company (H.A.C.), featuring their famous “Crossed Arrows” trademark stamped internally. This impressive timepiece dates to circa 1900 and is housed in a handsome architectural wooden case with a classic triangular pediment crest, egg-and-dart moulding accents, and prominent side pilasters with turned details. The clock face features an arched design boasting a silvered chapter ring with crisp Roman numerals, an outer minute track, and ornate brass corner spandrels framing a highly detailed textured brass dial center. The rear door opens to expose a clean, robust mechanical movement that features a reliable 14-day strike cycle, complete with its original factory paper labels intact (noting Model No. 3163). The clock is in good working order and comes complete with its pendulum and winding key.
