An exceptional Edwardian-era mechanical mantel clock featuring a classic architectural design. The case is constructed from high-quality, beautifully figured mahogany featuring a prominent triangular pediment top and a multi-tiered base.
The front facade is beautifully framed by two polished brass columns (pilasters) with intricate capitals and bases, set against gently curved side profiles. Elegant light-wood stringing neatly details the border of the main case, accentuating the rich, warm patina of the antique mahogany.
