Fine English Longcase Clock James Young of Nantwich 8-Day Striking Grandfather Clock Solid Oak Case   Superb longcase clock This clock was in the Nantwich Exhibition in 1985 no 11 Wonderful oak case with caddy top Sought designed lovely tall example 8-Day movement Silver & Brass dial Anchor escapement lift off hood with glass panels to the front and sides Clock is circa 1790 Working order Fully serviced movement Comes with weights and pendulum   Measures 222cm high by 44cm wide & 23cm     James Young of Nantwich longcase clock housed in a oak case wonderful Patina to this clock has read it pillars flanking the dial and the trunk double the clock is very solid and heavy benefiting from geometric design. The dial is clean with a Roman and Arabic numerals are all spandrels with sub seconds and date dial Clock   Good condition for age, showing slight signs or age to the case dial is very good as is movement, please view the many photos make sure happy.
