Perfect clock for any home this clock is made of kingwood veneer wood which has a high polish finish just out-standing in real life. The movement is access to the rear which is a good French 8-day movement strikes the half and the hour on a coiled gong. Fantastic quality extremely rare in this condition

The movement back plate stamped with the Japy Freres et Cie trademark logo, striking on a gong, the 4.5″ gilt metal dial with Roman cartouche enamel numerals, over a pendulum window, within a shaped case with foliate gilt metal mounts surmounted by a winged figure, 20.5″ high without bracket (pendulum)
